To ensure the WARIF Gatekeepers’ project remains aligned with its goals and objectives, ACT Foundation conducted a supportive supervision session with the birth attendants who had received training from WARIF in Iperu, Ikenne LGA in Ogun State.

During this session, the WARIF team had the opportunity to update the manual and logbook used by the birth attendants, reinforcing the importance of their referral procedures.

Several key topics were addressed during the meeting, emphasizing the pivotal role of birth attendants as first responders issue on GBV. Providing refreshers on the significance of maintaining accurate records in the Logbook and understanding the importance of proper reporting channels and referrals, including the Sexual Assault Referral Center (SARC) and the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
