WARIF is a non-profit organisation created to combat and advocate against the high prevalence of sexual and gender-based violence and human trafficking of young girls and women across Nigeria and Africa. It is our goal to create a world where all women and girls can live their lives free from gender-based violence.
“It is our primary social responsibility to ensure that all young girls and women live in a society free of sexual and gender-based violence.” – Dr. Kemi DaSilva-Ibru, Founder, WARIF
We are always in need of new volunteers to join our local teams. Join us in creating a safer world for women and girls.
Through the WARIF Rape Crisis Centre, we have been able to provide personalised and essential support services to survivors of rape and domestic and sexual violence.
WARIF Education Initiatives empower male and female students at secondary and university levels with the tools and knowledge to prevent and report SGBV.
Through the WARIF Community based Initiatives, we collaborated with community leaders and stakeholders to challenge harmful social norms and prevent SGBV at the grassroots level.
