Our founder, Dr Kemi DaSilva Ibru spoke at the Wimbiz 8th Annual Conference on the plenary session – “Silencing the shame”. The session explored how survivors of rape and sexual violence deal with trauma through assistance from organizations like WARIF and also how to overcome social stigmatization and start the journey to recovery.
