As part of our activities for the 16 Days of Activism, the WARIF Outreach Services team recently completed a successful round of sessions of the Boys Conversation Cafe for 100 boys in Kebbi State.
.
Training of the teachers on Gender based Violence was also a key element and was an integral part of the sessions.
.
In partnership with the Kebbi State Government, adolescent school boys between the ages of 12 and 16, were educated on the prevailing issues surrounding gender based violence (GBV)- changing their existing negative mindsets towards GBV is critical in changing their narrative towards becoming protectors of women and not perpetrators. .

His Excellency, Governor Atiku Bagudu led by example and participated in a mentoring session, offering valuable life lessons on the importance of having these conversations.
