On Saturday, the 23rd of March, we had the first WARIF MAKOKO COMMUNITY OUTREACH sponsored by @usaid and in partnership with @slum2school .
The WARIF team participated in the sensitisation of almost 500 youths on the prevalence and effects of rape and sexual violence. They were also taught to refer cases of rape to WARIF where they will be supported with medical care, legal aid, counseling and access to shelters totally FREE of charge.
