Over the last 3 years, WARIF in partnership with @unwomen as part of the EU- UN Spotlight Initiative has implemented the Prevention of Campus Sexual Violence Program in Tertiary Institutions across Nigeria.

This hybrid program is a combination of the first-ever Online Classroom sessions and in-person sessions at selected universities on this issue and has successfully educated almost 8000 students from over 100 universities in Nigeria.

Lagos State University; (LASU) as one of our participating universities partnered with @warif_ng to design a Protocol Document on the response and prevention of Gender based violence (GBV) in tertiary institutions.

WARIF also through the program has implemented a response team @lasuofficialpage and the university has opened a Centre for Response and Prevention of Sexual and Gender-based Violence to specifically address this issue.
