In continuation of our long-standing relationship with the United Nations, the UN Women Country Representative to Nigeria, Ms. Beatrice Eyong, recently graced the WARIF Rape Crisis Centre with a courtesy visit.
During her visit, we delved into our distinctive “WARIF Approach” and the impactful initiatives that have been set in motion to address the pressing issue of Gender-Based Violence (GBV) in Nigeria. @unwomenng @euinnigeria @un_nigeria
The primary focus of this meeting revolved around engaging in a comprehensive dialogue, one that thoroughly addressed the intricate facets of Gender-Based Violence (GBV). Furthermore, it emphasized the pivotal role that the Government plays in implementing effective measures to combat these challenges.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Eyong for her visit, and we deeply appreciate her unwavering commitment to improving every aspect of this critical cause.
