Earlier today, the Private Sector Health Alliance of Nigeria (PSHAN) and the World Health Organization (WHO) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the “Adopt-A-Healthcare Facility Programme (ADHFP).” The signing ceremony took place at the Civic Centre in Lagos with PSHAN partners in attendance.
This collaboration marks another important step in the collective effort to accelerate access to quality primary healthcare in Nigeria and aligns with the ongoing implementation of the Health Sector Renewal Investment Program (HSRIP) and the Sector Wide Approach (SWAp), driven by the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare in collaboration with states and development partners.
Also present at the signing ceremony alongside Dr. DaSilva-Ibru were the MD/CEO, PSHAN, Dr. Tinuola Akinbolagbe, the (World Health Organization, Nigeria Representative and Head of Mission), Dr. Walter Kazadi Mulomb, (CFR), Chairman, Access Holdings and Chairman, Aig-Imoukhuede Foundation, Mr. Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede, Consul General Germany to Nigeria, Mr. Weert Börner, the Executive Director MTN Foundation, Nigeria, Ms. Odunayo Sanya.
