WARIF held a review meeting session with the Staff and response team members of the Lagos State University (LASU) Ojo campus on the development of school-related gender based violence (SRGBV) prevention and response, based on the UNESCO guidelines.

The session kicked off with our Founder, Dr. Kemi DaSilva’s opening address; which she started off by appreciating the students and response team members for their active support and participation in the EU-UN Spotlight Initiative Program.

It was an enlightening event with the response team members as they were excited to review and develop the policies to prevent sexual violence using the UNESCO guidelines and also ensure the document for SRGBV prevention and response in Tertiary institutions in Nigeria is adaptable.
