The WARIF foundation on April 26th 2017 participated in the OOA Foundation ”English as a second language” program which was held in Ibefun, Abeokuta. Age appropriate awareness sessions on Child Abuse, Assault and gender based violence were carried out by highly trained facilitators with vulnerable and orphaned children between the ages of 4-12 years old. On November 31, WARIF centre in partnership with the Washington DC Rape Crisis Centre, the first rape crisis centre in the United States organized a training programme for its employees. WARIF Welcomed To DSVRT 2017 Meeting

The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team  has made WARIF an official member and has recognized WARIF Centre as a Sexual Assault Referral Centre in Lagos State.
